Camera Action: Football Double Header

Packed two days of football photography across Aberdeen pitches, pushing my Canon 1DX + 400mm f/5.6 and R5 + 70-200mm f/4 setups to the limit.

Saturday: First Pro Game at Balmoral Stadium

Lined up my debut professional match—Cove Rangers vs Peterhead in Scottish League One. Arrived early to catch player arrivals around 1:30pm, then shot from pitchside as Cove battled to a hard-fought 2-1 win. Tense finish with late pressure, but those goal celebrations delivered peak action moments at 1/2000s, ISO 6400 under the floodlights.

Sunday: Youth Cup Semi-Final Intensity

Straight back to Balmoral Stadium for West End vs Riverside in the U13 Scottish Cup semi-final. West End dominated possession and ran out convincing 3-0 winners. The red ultras kept the atmosphere electric throughout—non-stop chants turning the youth game into a proper spectacle.

Non-stop shutter action across senior grit and junior energy.

Albums processing now—stay tuned for highlights
