Cove Rangers produced an impressive performance at Bellslea Park on Tuesday night, securing a convincing 5–0 victory over Fraserburgh in the KDM Evolution Trophy. The result moved Cove closer to qualification for the knockout stage after taking nine points from their opening four matches.

Under the floodlights, both teams started with plenty of energy, but Cove soon established control of the game. Their attacking play created pressure throughout the opening period, and they went into half-time with a 2–0 lead.

Fraserburgh continued to work hard after the break, but Cove’s quality and intensity eventually told. The visitors added three further goals during the second half to complete a commanding 5–0 win.

It was another valuable opportunity to continue developing our matchday photography and build a visual record of the game.

Looking ahead

With further KDM Evolution Trophy fixtures still to come against Aberdeen B and Formartine United, Cove Rangers will be hoping to carry this momentum into their next matches.
