Cove Rangers welcomed East Fife to Balmoral Stadium on Saturday for an important William Hill League One fixture, with the sides sharing the points after a competitive 1–1 draw.
The match had plenty of intensity from the opening whistle, with Cove looking to make home advantage count in front of their supporters. Both sides competed strongly across the pitch, and the match provided plenty of action to capture from the sidelines.
Cove took the lead in the 41st minute when Destiny Oladipo headed home following a delivery from Jordan White, giving the home side a deserved advantage heading into half-time.
East Fife responded in the second half and drew level in the 69th minute through Myles Gaffney. Both teams continued to look for a late winner, but the game finished level at 1–1.
Capturing the action
From tackles and aerial battles to key moments in front of goal, it was another busy afternoon behind the camera at Balmoral Stadium.
Matchday photography is about much more than the scoreline. It captures the concentration of the players, the reactions from the dugouts, the support from the stands and the moments of celebration and frustration that come with every game.
The afternoon also highlighted the commitment of the Cove Rangers supporters, who continued to get behind the team throughout the match.
